If I’m being honest, I have no idea where my money went last year—but I’m pretty sure I ate most of it. Food is definitely my love language, and I have zero regrets about indulging in it. I also gave my wardrobe a much-needed update, and let me tell you, I’m genuinely satisfied with every piece I own now. For years, I was stuck in what I call a "mom wardrobe," rarely buying anything nice for myself. Mom guilt hits hard—even now, with teenagers. But as I step into 2025, I want to approach money differently, with more intention and a lot less guilt.

But beyond the strokes and flourishes, calligraphy has taught me lessons I didn’t expect.

I’ve learned to see how words look and feel. It’s strange, but when I write a word, I want it to feel like what it means. For example, the word timeless feels thin, classic, and elegant—it demands to be written in a traditional script. But the word ecstatic? It’s bold, bouncy, and full of playful loops.

Hustle culture has us rushing, performing, and striving—but at what cost? In 2025, I’m choosing slow living, intentional moments, and mindful consumption, including committing to a No Spend Year. It’s not about doing less; it’s about doing better. Join me as I share how slowing down has reignited my creativity, brought me peace, and redefined what success looks like.

2024 was a year of bold moves, big manifestations, and hard lessons. I chased every goal, achieved everything I set out for—and still found myself burnt out and exhausted by year’s end. Instead of jumping into 2025 with a list of resolutions, I’m taking January to pause, reflect, and ask myself deeper questions about what I truly need. This isn’t just about achieving more; it’s about aligning with the life I want to build.

Congratulations to this lady for graduating from college in California! We celebrated her photo shoot with a cap and gown session at a local nearby park. She’s on her way to becoming a psychologist and I am so excited to see where she goes!

Sacramento’s local bakery, Bad Baker’s, got new merchandise products in, so I brought in some amazing people I’ve met in the area to model for me for their brand. I am always so thankful for the amazing people I’ve been able to meet on my life journey. Thank you to the models who were down to pose and follow directions from me as I got the shots. We found a cute green wall that was just the perfect backdrop for these images, giving it a good urban feel.
