Celebrating One Year with Sip & Script

A full year of ink, laughter, community, and creativity — I can’t believe it’s already been one whole year since I started teaching with Sip & Script! What began as a creative side adventure has blossomed into one of the most joy-filled parts of my life.

To celebrate my 1-year milestone, the Sip & Script team surprised me with the sweetest care package: a soft anniversary T-shirt, a Good Beads Boston bracelet, a handwritten thank-you card (with my name in calligraphy — yes, they know the way to a letter lover’s heart!), a bookmark, a sticker, and... my favorite candy: Sour Patch Kids. 🥹💖 I genuinely felt seen and appreciated. It’s those thoughtful touches that make this team and community so special.

A Year of Teaching, Learning, and Connecting

Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of teaching calligraphy to so many incredible people — from birthday parties and bridal showers to solo creatives just wanting to try something new. Every class brings new energy, new stories, and often new friends. I love seeing students find that "aha!" moment when their letters start to flow. And without fail, I always end up telling them:

“You could totally teach with Sip & Script too.”

Because it’s true. If you love calligraphy, connecting with people, and bringing creativity to life, this is a dream opportunity. I’ve grown so much as both a calligrapher and a teacher, and the support Sip & Script gives instructors is unmatched.

Want to Teach Too?

If you’ve been thinking about taking your calligraphy to the next level and sharing it with others, I 100% recommend reaching out to the team — they’re always looking for passionate, kind creatives to join the crew. You can email them directly through their website here. Even if you're nervous, do it. You never know how far a single “yes” can take you.

Thank You, Sip & Script

To the whole team at Sip & Script: thank you for creating something so genuine and empowering. Thank you for giving me space to share my love of lettering and connect with people in the most beautiful way. I’m so excited to keep teaching, creating, and celebrating this art form with you — year after year.

Here’s to the next chapter... and more Sour Patch Kids along the way. 😉
