Can you share the story behind starting your business and what drives your mission?
I worked in a toxic environment for nine years until the realization hit me that I didn't want to give any more of life to a company that was completely draining me. I spent so much time trying to improve things at that organization and realized that I could help other companies that faced similar challenges. My goal with By Design is to help leaders lead more effectively and teams work together more efficiently, and I'm driven by a believe that everyone has the right to work in a physically, emotionally and mentally safe environment.
Who is your ideal client, and how do you aim to serve them?

I want to work with mission driven companies, or companies in search of their mission, who need support with their team dynamics and leadership. I work with these companies to identify their unique challenges, and create strategic solutions that will allow them do what they do better.
Tell me a little about yourself?
I'm a professional problem solver, full time traveler and insatiably curious about humanity and society. I like to dive deep on topics that interest me and ask the big questions that make myself and others really think. I love helping people identify and reach their highest potential, and the prospect of doing that continuously makes me so excited to wake up in the morning and do what I do best.
What's something you're passionate about?
I love to write! I released my first book in March of 2024 on leadership and am working on more. I write both in correlation with my business, releasing a monthly blog - and creatively for fun and for stress release. I also love to travel and explore new places. I just visited my 37th country and have no plans to stop wandering any time soon.
If you could describe your personality in 3 words, what would they be?
Curious, innovative, optimistic.
What's a dream or goal you're currently working towards?
My life goal is to be on the TED stage. I recently identified what I want my topic to be and am in the initial stages of doing some research to become an expert.
Who or what has been a big influence in your life, and why?
As nerdy as it sounds books have been a huge impact in my life. I have always loved to read and am constantly working on at least two or three books. Whether it's leadership, business, self development, poetry, historical fiction, fantasy - books both help me learn and inspire my creativity and imagination. I turn to them for comfort, distraction, inspiration and answers to all of live's questions.
What's one accomplishment you're especially proud of?
Starting my business. Taking the leap to be an entrepreneur was one of the scariest things I have ever done but it has brought the most amazing people and experiences into my life. I have learned more about myself and what I'm capable of and have a new trust in the universe and timing of my life.
